Our most popular training course! A fun, exciting and current training course taking you through aspects of modern day makeup techniques. The only makeup course you will need to kick start your new career in makeup.
Course Breakdown
Day 1 | The basics
Today we start from right at the very beginning. Day one we will cover everything from hygiene procedures, client consultations, colour matching, blending techniques, kit essentials and much more. There will then be a live demo where we will show you these techniques in action. It will then be your turn to recreate the look. There is a lot to get through this day to be prepared to take in a lot of information!
Day 2 | Spotlight eye
Day two we will be learning how to create the extremely popular spotlight eye. This look is so versatile and can be toned down or glammed up to suit. We will conduct a live demonstration in the morning and then it will be your turn to recreate the look with our guidance.
Day 3 | Bridal
Day 3 will be all about weddings. We will be sharing all the information and tips and tricks we have learnt over the years when doing weddings. We will go through everything from pricing, how to organise your kit, bridal trials, dos & don’ts and more. We will also show you how to create the perfect bridal look in a live demonstration. You will then create a bridal look on your model.
Day 4 | Advanced
Day 4 we will be learning some advanced makeup techniques and pushing your skills to the limit. We will learn a variety of pro makeup techniques and create a look that will help develop your creative makeup skills.
Day 5 | Portfolio & Assessment
The last day, this will be your chance to create 2 looks for your portfolio. These looks can be a look we have learned earlier on in the week, or if you’re feeling a little more creative it can be a brand new look. We will be there to assist you if you get stuck or have any questions, however we will be assessing you so the more you can achieve by yourself, the better.
By the end of your training, you will have learnt all the vital skills you need to become a makeup artist. We will also cover building your business, social media, kit essentials, how to get a great photo and so much more.

+ How much does the course cost and what is included?
The cost of this course is £1020 inc VAT
This includes 5 days of intensive training

+ Will I get a qualification at the end of this course?
Yes you will gain a recognised qualification accredited by The Beauty Guild. This will enable you to gain insurance and apply for certain pro cards and events.
+ What time will the course run to and from?
The course will run 10am - 5pm Monday - Friday
+ Do I need to have any previous makeup experience?
No previous experience is required. The course is suitable for beginners as well as makeup artists wanting to obtain new skills and/or a recognised qualification.
+ Do I need to bring a model?
During the group training courses, the majority of the week you will work on each other (so be prepared to take your makeup off) However, if there is an odd number you may be required to bring a model. We will let you know if a model is needed well in advance. On the last day of training you will be required to bring in 1 or 2 models. Preferably someone you will feel comfortable working on. If you are unable to get a model please let us know and we can provide one for you.
+ Is there a finance option?
Yes we do offer finance on this course. Payments are split over 3 months. You will not have to pay anything upon booking, first instalment is one month after booking. 1.5% fee applicable.
+ Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, 25% deposit is required to secure your place on the course. Unless paying via finace option.
+ Do you have parking?
Yes, there is free parking outside the shop. There are also no parking restrictions on the surrounding roads.
